Features of the Alignment Platform

The electronically controlled alignment platform consists of three parts: alignment platform (mechanical part), drive motor (drive part), and controller (control part). The drive motor and controller mainly determine the performance parameters such as driving torque, resolution, acceleration and deceleration, signal processing, and usage functions (e.g. scanning, circular interpolation). The alignment platform is the heart of the system, and the main technical parameters such as displacement accuracy, stroke, load, stability, applicable environment, and external dimensions are all determined by it.

Compared with the electric alignment platform, the manual alignment platform mainly changes the driving part to hand wheel, and removes the control part, and directly uses the hand to control the displacement amount artificially. Due to the simple drive and flexible use, the manual alignment platform is also widely used in various occasions that need to do precision displacement without online automatic control.

Several main technical indicators of the precision alignment platform are introduced:

◆Resolution: it refers to the tiny position increment that can be distinguished by the moving system.

◆Accuracy: for a given input, the difference between the actual position and the ideal position.

◆ Repeat positioning accuracy: it is the ability of the displacement system to reach a given point many times.

◆Load capacity: is the size of the combined force allowed to act on the center of the alignment platform table and perpendicular to the direction of motion and the working table.
