Fixed seat unit inserted, tighten the lock nut, with pads and hexagon socket set screws to fix it.
1) You can use a V-shaped block to pad up the screw when installing the standoff;
2） Insertion should be kept straight during insertion in order to prevent jamming. At the same time, do not strike strongly (applying some lubricant to the end of the screw shaft beforehand is a good way to insert the screw shaft smoothly into the fixed side);
3) The lock nut should be temporarily tightened;
4） Do not dismantle the fixed side of the support.
2. Installation of support side
Use the snap ring to fix the support side bearing to the screw shaft and install the support side support seat.
Installation of the Screw Assembly to the Base
1. When using the nut holder to install the nut on the workbench, insert the screw nut into the nut holder and tighten it temporarily.
2. Temporarily fasten the fixed side unit to the base, move the workbench closer to the fixed side unit and align it with the axis center, and adjust the workbench so that it can move smoothly.
3. When using the fixed base unit as the benchmark, please leave a certain gap between the outer diameter of the nut and the inner diameter of the workbench or nut seat for adjustment.
4. Move the workbench closer to the support unit on the support side and align it with the center of the shaft. Move the workbench back and forth several times until the nut can move smoothly throughout the entire stroke, and temporarily tighten the support unit on the base.
Confirmation of Accuracy and Tightening
1. While testing the runout and axial clearance of the ball screw shaft end using a micrometer, it is necessary to tighten the nut, nut holder, fixed holder unit and support holder unit in the order of the nut, nut holder, fixed holder unit and support holder unit.
2. Attach the motor bracket to the base and use the coupling to connect the motor to the ball screw, and note that a full test run should be performed before doing so. If there is any abnormal noise or stuttering during the operation of the ball screw after the assembly is completed, it is necessary to loosen the connection of each part and readjust it.
