The rolling guides are interchangeable, as long as the slider or guide rail or the entire rolling guide is replaced, the machine tool can regain high precision.
As mentioned above, since the relative movement of the balls between the guide rail and the slider is rolling, the friction loss can be reduced. Usually the coefficient of rolling friction is about 2% of the coefficient of sliding friction, so the transmission mechanism using rolling guide rail is far superior to the traditional sliding guide rail.
